Dopo l’incredibile successo del primo brano Pompeii, i Bastille ci riprovano con Laura Palmer, il nuovo singolo estratto dal loro album d’esordio “Bad Blood“. La canzone vuole essere un omaggio alle serie televisiva “Twin Peaks” di David Lynch, di cui Dan Smith frontman della band inglese, è un grande fan. Guarda il video di Laura Palmer qui:
Un grande successo quello dei Bastille che, dopo pochi mesi dalla pubblicazione di Pompeii (in Gran Bretagna è tra i dieci pezzi più scaricati del 2013) si sono fatti conoscere anche dal pubblico italiano, e non solo, conquistando i primi posti delle classifiche radiofoniche: Pompei è tra le tre canzoni più trasmesse dalle radio italiane nel 2013 e digitali, raggiungendo la certificazione di singolo di platino con oltre 50 mila copie vendute.
I Bastille, vi ricordiamo (Dan Smith voce, Chris Wood alla batteria, Will Farquarson al basso, Kyle Simmons alle tastiere), sono momentaneamente impegnati come supporter nel tour europeo dei Muse e si esibiranno sui palchi dei maggiori festival estivi (Glastonbury, Benicassim, Isle of Wight e molti altri). La band inglese, partirà in autunno per il un nuovo tour europeo (già sold out tutte le date in UK).
