Take That: These Days, ascolta la nuova canzone

Simbolo di una generazione, diminuiscono di numero ma la formazione resta forte, ancorata a metà tra passato e presente. I Take That continuano a calcare i palchi di mezzo mondo e, intanto, presentano il nuovo singolo che è These Days.  Si tratta di uno dei pezzi contenuti nell’album III, che promette di non far rimpiangere il recente addio di un altro componente, che è Jason Orange.

Per il nuovo lavoro discografico, però, c’è ancora qualche settimana di attesa, visto che sarà disponibile a partire da dicembre, diventando (forse) uno dei regali di Natale delle ex adolescenti anni Novanta e delle nuove generazioni che amano ascoltare questi giovani ormai più maturi, ma pionieri del genere e creatori di una delle boy band più amata di sempre.

La canzone è in rotazione radiofonica nel Regno Unito da adesso, ma per il download bisognerà aspettare al 23 novembre. Il gruppo, però, ha limitato l’attesa pubblicando l’audio sul profilo YouTube ufficiale.

These Days è importante perché segna l’ennesima rinascita dei Take That, questa volta in tre. Del resto, a suo tempo, superarono persino l’abbandono di Robbie Williams e possono farcela ancora. Oggi restano Gary Barlow, Mark Owen e Howard Donald che, tra l’altro, in passato hanno avuto delle brevi ma interessanti carriere da solisti. E’ scritto da tutti loro e a produrlo ci ha pensato Greg Kurstin (che ha già lavorato con artisti del calibro di Katy Perry e P!nk). In equilibrio tra pop e dance, ricorda molto le atmosfere del passato, quelle che li hanno fatti conoscere in tutto il mondo.
