La bella e giovane Taylor Swift colleziona oltre ad adolescenziali storie d’amore, la più famosa con il “lupo” di Twilight Taylor Lautner, anche premi alla sua ormai avviatissima carriera. Ne ha dunque portato a casa ben quattro in occasione degli American Music Awards 2013. La serata di premiazione ha avuto come location il Nokia Theatre di Los Angeles e lei ha agguantato lo scettro di riconoscimenti importanti come: “Artist of the year”, “Favorite female artist – pop-rock”, “Favorite female artist – country” e “Favorite album – country”. Niente male per la biondissima interprete che sembra avere il mondo in mano con la sua bellezza e un talento fuori dal normale.

La cantante nata in Pennsylvania, è stata dunque una vera protagonista insieme a Justin Timberlake che, invece, si è aggiudicato i titoli di “Favorite male artist – pop-rock”, “Favorite male artist – soul-r&b” e “Favorite album – soul-r&b”. A Rihanna è andato il suo primo “icon Award”, consegnato direttamente dalla madre Monica Fenty.
A stupire, ma ormai nemmeno più di tanto, Miley Cyrus che ha fatto il twerking con la “partecipazione” di un gattino proiettato su un maxi schermo e Lady Gaga, invece somigliava a Lady Godiva e durante la serata in versione Marylin Monroe, insieme al rapper R. Kelly, in versione presidente Usa, ha intonato “Do What U Want” in una sorta di Stanza Ovale.
