La 54esima edizione degli “Oscar della Musica”, ovvero i Grammy Awards, che premierà i migliori artisti allo Staples Center di Los Angeles il 12 febbraio 2012 ha già reso note le candidature. Adele ha ricevuto sei nomination tra cui miglior registrazione, canzone e album dell’anno “21” in testa alle classifiche mondiali. A seguirla c’è Kanye West con sette nomination, tra cui canzone dell’anno per “All of the lights“, Bruno Mars e i Foo Fighters hanno conquistato ognuno sei nomination. Anche Amy Winehouse è stata nominata con la canzone Body and Soul insieme a Tony Bennett, per il titolo di Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Lady Gaga e Rihanna portano a casa tre nomine. Skrillex è stato la rivelazione della serata con cinque nomination, tra cui artista emergente.
